GreyTraveller is the home of GreyTraveller TV and editorial - low cost, highly individual travel movies, plus entertaining travel writing from and for a mature audience.

If you’ve made interesting or unusual trips and written about them, or made video diaries and programmes about your travels, we’d welcome them on this site.

There’s no money involved - we neither ask for payment from you, nor pay contributors. But we hope the site is interesting to both parties!

GreyTraveller movies are made on ordinary “pro-sumer” 3-chip Mini-DV camcorders, and are edited on a Pinnacle Systems Studio 9+ editing system.

Encoded versions shown here are encoded on Windows Media Codec, version 9 being our current codec.

To see GreyTraveller videos at full VHS spec, CD-rom or DVD copies are available. Broadcast spec copies on Betacam are also available with appropriate rights packages at low prices.
